1: Implementation of network and server system in Yantai police station in 1999.
¡¡¡¡This project is one part of golden shield project of the public security system. It realizes the population and traffic data information sharing through the wide area network construction between Yantai municipal police station and 13 police stations of towns and districts of Yantai, and the local area network construction of inside municipal police station. The project was started in October 1999 and was finished in November 1999. The bandwidth was the 1000Mbps¡ªthe best choice at that time. In terms of the wide area network, we adopt the special E1 line; and the server system, we adopt the Alpha small computer. The whole system is unique in high bandwidth, high transmission speed, as well as the reliable working performance.
2: Construction of Jinzhou Port Terminal Management Information System Platform in 2000.
¡¡¡¡In order to build an information exchange platform that can cover the whole port, this project should be completed all together with the construction of the network that covers the whole port, server system, wireless and port management information software. This project was started in April 2000, and was completed in July 2000. The whole network is divided into several virtual networks so that the working reliability and the utilization ratio are highly improved. We use Alpha small computer with duplicate hot standby system as the server and in the port information management we adopt Oracle Developer tool system. Ever since the operation of this system, the management and operation of the port are both highly improved.
3: Network Platform Construction of Zhangjiagang Win Hanverky Container terminal in 2001.
¡¡¡¡This system realizes an all-round information-based management through the information platform construction, including: server, wireless and management software, etc. We use Compaq Alpha small computer with duplicate hot standby system as the server; radio solution we adopt the American Intermec Terminal¡¯s wireless solution which includes: 7 Intermec2100wireless base stations; 12 Intermec 5055 car-carried machines; 4 Intermec 6400 handsets; and a DCS300 gateway thus to realize mobile operation and mobile data collection. In terms of the container management software, we insist the combination of Oracle Developer and VC to make it be of the best performance.
4: Information System Platform Construction of Shenzhen Chiwan Wharf Holdings Limited in 2001
¡¡¡¡This system was started in July 2001 and was finished in September 2001. It includes constructions as server, network, optical fiber cable and wiring project. We use the advanced Compaq Alpha minicomputer with duplicate hot standby system as the server, and divide the network into several virtual networks to make the platform more advanced, more reliable and secure.
5: Management Information System Construction of Nantong Port Container Terminal in 2002
¡¡¡¡This system includes a series of software: server system, wireless network, container terminal management system, etc. We adopt IBM RS6000 F85 minicomputer with duplicate hot standby system, the American Intermec wireless network solution, 5 Intermec2100 wireless base stations and one DCS300 network controller in our product. And also we equip the yard container crane, front crane and forklift with 10 Intermec car-carried machines, and equip the quayside container crane with 5 Intermec 6400 handsets. By doing this, we realize the wireless network covering the whole terminal, as well as the mobile operation and mobile data collection. This project was started in December 2002 and was finished in March 2003. It realizes a 2.4G wireless network coverage of the whole terminal, and the floating vehicles can send and receive data in real-time.
6: Information System Platform Construction of Yantai Container Company of Yantai Port in 2003.
¡¡¡¡This project was started in August 2003 and was finished in November 2003. It includes a series of software: server system, wireless network, container terminal management system, etc. We adopt the advanced HP Alpha small computer with duplicate hot standby system as server and adopt Oracle database (corporation version) in our product. And in order to improve the working efficiency, we use the Canadian Teklogix¡¯s wireless solution to cover the whole terminal and the Cisco Catalyst4506 to divide the whole network into several virtual networks. We equip 14 HD-TWT6005 (car-carried industrial personnel computer) to the yard container crane, front crane, as well as the forklift; 6 Teklogix7035 handsets to the quayside container crane; 26 HD-TWT6005 (container-trailer carried terminal that researched and developed by Huadong Soft-tech Co.,Ltd) in container-truck¡¯s dispatching. By doing this, we realize the wireless operation of the whole terminal. And with its help, the terminal¡¯s annual throughput increases year by year.
7:Information System Platform Construction of New Oriental Container Terminal of Lianyuangang Port in 2004
¡¡¡¡Including software and hardware, the amount on contract reaches to 6.5 million yuan. This project was started in August 2004 and was finished in December 2004. It contains server system, database system, wireless and network systems as well as the container management software. We adopt the advanced IBM Pserie650 minicomputer two-node cluster system as the server and Oracle database and we use two Cisco Catalyst4506 to form a duplicate redundancy hot standby system. In terms of the wireless system, we use the Canadian Teklogix¡¯s 2.4G wireless solution to cover the whole terminal. We equip the terminal with 14 Teklogix9150 base stations, 19 handsets, 45 car-carried 8560 terminals to realize mobile operation in the terminal.
8: Wireless Platform Construction in Guangzhou Nansha Container Terminal in 2004.
¡¡¡¡The total contracted amount of both the software and hardware reaches to 4.2 million. This project was started in October 2004 and was finished in December 2004.It includes 2.4G, 400M wireless operation system and container-lorry dispatching system. We adopt the Canadian Teklogix¡¯s wireless operation solution which needs 10 2.4G 9150 base stations and 2 mixing base stations to cover the whole terminal ground and high sky. Yard container crane, front crane, and forklift are equipped with car-carried machines: 35 Teklogix 8570 car-carried terminals. Quayside handset mobile operation is adopted 400M narrowband wireless technology. We use two 9500 network controllers to provide handset page cache and use one hundred HD-TWT6003 truck-carried wireless terminals that researched and developed independently by Huadong Soft-tech Co.,Ltd to realize an overall dispatch to the container-trailer. The whole project adopts redundant design from base station to network control to ensure continuity and reliability of the operation.
9: Wireless Platform Construction in Dalian Port Container Terminal in 2005.
¡¡¡¡This project is adopted the unique 400M narrowband wireless system of the Canadian Teklogix company to ensure an all-round coverage of the whole terminal. We use two Teklogix 9150, 400 M base station to cover the whole terminal and equip 64 Teklogix 8255 truck-carried terminals for yard container crane, front crane, and forklift. In terms of the quayside container cranes, we adopt 14 Teklogix 7035 handset character terminals and 2 Teklogix 9500 network controllers, and at the same time, we use terminal emulation mode to connect to the central server. The whole system is designed with the redundant mode to ensure the reliability and continuity.
10: Port Container Yard Management Platform Construction of China Ocean Logistics Qingdao Limited
¡¡¡¡We adopt 2.4G wireless system which we equipped with three base stations, four 8560 car-carried terminals, two 8570 car-carried terminals. We use two IBM X series PCs as the server working in two-node mode and container number auto-recognition system of Tsinghua Unisplendour Kaiyuan.
11: Management Information Platform Construction in Jinzhou New Times Container Terminal in 2005.
¡¡¡¡This project was started in October 2005 and was finished in December 2005. It contains container management software, server system, database system, network system, wireless system, and monitoring system. We adopt the advanced IBM Pserie 520 minicomputer and two-node cluster system with DS4300 disk array; Oracle9icorporate database. 12: Management Information Platform Construction of Jingtang International Container Terminal in 2005.
¡¡¡¡This project was started in November 2005 and was finished in December 2005. It contains container management software, server system, database system, network system, etc. We adopt the advanced IBM Pserie 520 minicomputer and two-node cluster system with DS4300 disk array to complete the server and Oracle9icorporate database to equip our database. In terms of the switch, we use Cisco Catalyst4506 hub switch and Catalyst2950 as the Level-2 switch. 1: CCTV System in Ningbo Zhenhai Customs Surveillance Zone
¡¡¡¡The monitoring system of Ningbo Zhenhai customs surveillance zone includes: two sets of TC-2816 digital video disk recorder of Tiandiweiye company. There¡¯re totally 12 monitoring spots, among which, 6 are controlled by the customs, 4 are controlled by the import and export commodity inspection and quarantine bureau of the state, 2 are controlled by safeguard team. Each one is connected to decoder by moveable pan & tilt. And in terms of video transmission, we use NTK optical terminator.
¡¡¡¡As for working effect, the monitoring images that transmitted to the central computer room are very clear; the pan & tilt works flexibly so that it can monitor a wider range of area; and the hardware video disk recorder and the matrix operate smoothly.
2: Yantai Frontier Defense Checkpoint CCTV System
¡¡¡¡There are totally 10 monitoring spots in CCTV system of Yantai frontier defense checkpoint and are mainly distributed in the international travel inspection hall. 8 of them are adopted fixed cameras to monitor the passage, and the other 2 are connected to the decoder by pan & tilt to monitor the whole travel inspection hall. We use TC-2816 video disk recorder of Tiandatiancai company. The control room is built in the scene hall to do background control.
3: Ocean Shipping Terminal CCTV System of Yingkou Port
¡¡¡¡Yingkou port started Korea line in 2002, and in order to monitor the in and out of port information of vessels and personnel, we install one monitoring spot and TC-2804 video disk recorder at wharf surface. It controls and monitors the whole terminal in dispatching room.
¡¡¡¡There¡¯re totally 17 monitoring spots in the third phase of container terminal monitoring system of Yingkou port. The front end is equipped with moveable pan & tilt to connect to the decoder; and the video transmission is transmitted to the control room through NTK optical terminator. We fix 48circuit video matrix in control room and realize control to the front monitoring spots through the control keyboard. We also use TC-2824 video disk recorder to enable the network users watch and check the images from the front cameras.
4: Monitoring system of Yantai Port Area
¡¡¡¡Project demand of Solas(a monitoring system of Yantai port) was completed at the end of April,2004, and this project was finally authorized to be handed to Yantai Huadong Soft-tech Co.,Ltd for construction and maintenance through public bidding. We fixed 86 cameras as the front side monitoring points of the system, and constructed one monitoring center and 4 monitoring sub-centers in total.
¡¡¡¡As for the working effect, the monitoring images that transmitted to the central computer room are very clear; the pan & tilt works flexibly so that it can monitor a wider range of area; and the video disk recorder and the matrix operate smoothly.
(1) Features of this system
¡¡¡¡This system satisfies well the demand of Solas and, at the same time, gives attention to operation. It integrates the previous CCTV system of Yantai port by bringing the dispersive CCTV systems of subsidiaries into the whole CCTV system of Yantai port group. And the new systems that will be built in the future can also be integrated into this whole system. Moreover, this system is unique in its opening characteristic, so in the future, if you adopt the same control protocol (users can decide the equipment brand according to their needs), you can be integrated into the system of the whole port group to realize resource sharing. And it prepares the CCTV interfaces for the work units (e.g. the customs, frontier defense inspection station) that are related to the port operation. Monitoring points are connected to the nearest sub-centers in the aim of fully using the limited resources.
(2) System structure
¡¡¡¡We adopt hiberarchy in this system and divide it into two layers. We take the fourth floor of the port group building as the first-layer, and set four second-layer of monitoring sub-centers in Alliance Company, Passenger Transport Company, Container Company, and CSX World Terminals Yantai Co.Ltd respectively. We equip this system with the most advanced matrix cascade control technology to accomplish the video image transfer and control among matrixes. What¡¯s more, the controlling signals are transmitted through LAN so that it can help us save the wiring cost.
In accordance with both the need of normal operation and the demand of port group¡¯s security, the Alliance Company, Passenger Transport Company, Container Company, and CSX World Terminals Yantai Co.Ltd select proper positions inside the company to build monitoring points. Main equipment distribution are as follows:
- CCTV center of the port group is installed by 15 set of component, including front side vidicon, camera pan-tilt-zoom decoder, and optical terminator; 1 set of video matrix; 3 set of 16-circuit video disk tape recorder; 1 set of 4-circuit video disk recorder; 1 set of TV wall; 1 set of main control console; 1 set of air-conditioner; 1 set of UPS, etc.??
- The Alliance Company is installed by 41 set of component, including front side vidicon, camera pan-tilt-zoom decoder, and optical terminator; 1 set of video matrix; 3 set of 16-circuit hard disk video tape recorder; 1 set of 4-circuit video disk recorder; 1 set of TV wall; 1 set of main control console; 1 set of UPS; 1 network memory server, etc.
- Passenger Transport Company is installed by 7 set of component, including front side vidicon, camera pan-tilt-zoom decoder, and optical terminator; 1 set of video matrix; 1 main control console, etc.
- Container Company is installed by 8 set of component, including front side vidicon, camera pan-tilt-zoom decoder, and optical terminator; 1 set of video matrix; 1 video disk recorder, etc.
- CSX World Terminal Yantai Co.,Ltd is installed by 15 set of component, including front side vidicon, camera pan-tilt-zoom decoder, and optical terminator; 1 set of video matrix; 1 video disk recorder, etc.
¡¡¡¡Video signals of monitoring sub-center points are firstly transmitted to each monitoring sub-center, then they will be divided into two parts by video allotter. One part is transmitted into the matrix, the other part is divided into two smaller parts. One part of these two is video signal related to the port operation, and they will be transmitted into video disk recorder of each monitoring sub-center for kinescoping, while the other part that is related to Solas will be transmitted into monitoring center of the port group. So we can say that each monitoring sub-center is just responsible for port operation and the monitoring center take charge of the Solas.? The monitoring center of port group realizes all round control to all the front side monitoring points through inside matrix. And the sub-controls of each subsidiaries can also satisfied their operation needs through the control to monitoring points that are related to operation, and at the same time, we can also set the control privilege to avoid controlling conflict. In this case, this system meets not only the demand of Solas, but also the need of operation.

2:Project Network System Platform Construction assigned for Zhangjiagang Win Hanverky Container Terminal was finished in 2001.

4:Project Information System Platform assigned for Yantai Gangtong Container Terminal started in August 2003 and completed in November 2003.
This project included Server System, Network System, Wireless System and Container Management Software etc. Teklogix Wireless Solution (Canada) covered whole terminal. 14 sets car-carried IPC HD-RWT8001 were equipped in yard cranes, front-handling mobile cranes and forklifts. These IPC were researched and developed by Huadong independly. 8 sets Teklogix 7035 handset were equipped for bridge cranes. 26 sets car-carried terminal HD-TWT6005 (also Huadong product) were equipped in container trucks which made them under good planning. Application software adopted advanced developing tools such as Oracle Developer¡¢PB and VC which made the whole system steady and reliable. 5:Project Management Information System Platform assigned for Lianyungang New Oriental Container Terminal started in August 2004 and completed by end of December 2004.

Wireless could cover whole terminal by Teklogix 2.4G Wireless Solution(Canada). The solution included £º14 sets Teklogix 9150 base station, 19 sets 7035 handset and 45 sets 8560 car-carried terminal. This design achieved movable operation within terminal area. Application software adopted advanced developing tools such as Oracle Developer¡¢PB¡¢VC and Tuxedo. As for technology, 3 tiers in architecture . All these made whole system steady and reliable.
6. Project Wireless System Platform assigned for Guangzhou Nansha Port Container Terminal started in October 2004 and completed by end of
December 2004 with contract value RMB4,200,000 including software and hardware.
This project included 2.4G & 400M Wireless Movable Operation System which covered whole terminal and Container Truck Planning System etc. Frequency Mixing Wireless Solution from Canada Teklogix was put into use. Equipped with 10 sets 2.4G 9150 base station and 2 sets frequency mixing base station. All terminal area including ground, upper air and shore could be covered. 35 sets Teklogix 8570 car-carried terminal in 11M data rate were equipped in yard cranes, front-handling mobile cranes and forklifts. 23 sets Teklogix 7035 handset in 400M narrowband wireless techinics for shore operators had no fade zone . Equipped with 2 sets 9500 network controller, handsets have page caching function.
100 sets car-carried wireless terminal HD-TWT6003 (Huadong product) were equipped in trucks which could make them under good planning within terminal. This system adopted redundancy design which ensured continuity and security on terminal operation. It involved all terminal vehicles and workers to work together cooperatively, achieved real time operation and increased operation efficiency.
7: Project Wireless System Platform assigned for Dalian Gangwan Container Terminal was finished in 2005.
Exclusive Narrowband Wireless System from Canada Teklogix was adopted which made terminal covered very well. Equipped with 2 sets Teklogix 9150 400M base station redundancy designed to cover whole terminal. 64 sets Teklogix 8255 car-carried terminal were equipped in yard cranes, front-handling mobile cranes and forklifts. 14 sets Teklogix 7035 handset equipped for bridge cranes. Equipped with 2 sets 9500 network controller. Movable terminals linked with center server by terminal emulation mode and meanwhile network controller has page caching function. The whole system adopted redundancy design on both base station and network controlling which ensured terminal operation to be continuous and secure .
8: Project Yard Management System Platform assigned for COSCO Logistics(Qingdao ) Gangwan Container Yard was finished in 2005.
This project adopted Teklogix 2.4G Wireless Solution (Canada ). Equipped with 3 sets base station, 4 sets 8560 car-carried terminal,2 sets 8570 car-carried terminal. PC server dual system of IBM X series for server platform, container No. automatically identification system was from Kaiyuan of Qinghuazihuang.
9:Project Management Information System Platform assigned for Jinzhou Xinshidai Container Yard started in October 2005 and finished by end of December 2005.
This project included Container Management Software, Server System, Database System, Network System, Wireless System and Monitor System etc. Advanced IBM Pserie 520 minicomputer and DS4300 Disk Array made up double Minicomputer Clustered System for server. Oracle9i database, Cisco Catalyst4506 for network center exchanger, Catalyst 3750 for 2nd exchanger, several VLAN achieved security and efficiency. Teklogix 2.4G Wireless Solution (Canada) made whole terminal covered. Equipped with 8 sets Teklogix 9150 base station, 7 sets 7035 handset and 19 sets 8560 car-carried terminal. Infinova Monitor System Solution (America) applied for CCTV terminal system, 15 sets High Speed Dome scattered about whole terminal, matrix controlling, recording in Dahua DVR (Digital Video Recorder). The rational configuration was from our years practice on terminal which ensured whole system steady and reliable.
10: 7 sets TREK 755 car-carried IPC were adopted in Wireless System assigned for Qingdao Daya Container Yard in 2006.
It achieved wireless truck dispatching within container yard.
11: 6 sets TekLogix 7535 graphic handset were adopted in Wireless Tally System assigned for Yantai Ocean Shipping Tally Company in 2006.
It achieved wireless roaming and real time tally within terminal.
12:Project Wireless System assigned for Yantai Port Container Company was finished in 2006.
This project adopted 6 sets Teklogix 9150 as wireless base station, 12 sets TREK 756 car-carried terminal and 6 sets Teklogix
7530 handset to achieve movable operation within terminal. 20 sets car-carried wireless terminal HD-TWT6005 (Huadong product) were equipped in trucks so that operator could dispatch all trucks within terminal.
13:Project Wireless System assigned for Zhenjiang Port Container Terminal was old terminal alteration .
Since optical cable was not available, we used wireless relay mode. We set up a switch-in base station with omni antenna on top of their office building, equipped relay base station on high-pole lamp which linked switch-in base station by omni antenna, and by other omni antenna covered nearby wireless terminals of container yard. 4 sets Teklogix 9150 wireless base station, 8 sets Teklogix 8560 car-carried terminal and 6 sets Teklofix 7535 handset were adopted.
14:Project System Integration assigned for Zhenjiang Dagang Phase ¢ó Container Terminal was finished in 2007.
This project included Container Management Software, Server System, Database System, Network System, Wireless System, Monitor System, Electron Gateway, Comprehensive Wiring, RCMS System, Wireless Intercom and Lighting Control System. Cisco 802.11b plus 230M Narrowband (used for container truck dispatching) as Wireless System to ensure no fade zone coverage and movable operation within terminal. Equipped with 9 sets Cisco 1242 base station, 8 sets Teklogix 7530 handset, 18 sets Teklogix 8580 wireless car-carried terminal, 18 sets car-carried terminal HD-TWT6005 (Huadong product).
15:2 sets Teklogix 9160 base station and 8 sets Teklogix 8580 car-carried terminal were adopted in Wireless System assigned for Zhuhai Jiuzhou Terminal in 2007.
16:Project Wireless System assigned for Dalian International Container Terminal (Dalian Dayaowan Phase ¢ó) of 2008 was the next project after Dalian Dayaowan Phase ¢ò of 2005 which was also carried by Huadong.
The design annual throughput was 3 million TEU. Adopted Frequency Mixing technics in Wireless System--- 802.11b & 400M narrow band. Equipped with 13 sets Cisco 1310 wireless base station, 2 sets Teklogix 9160 narrowband base station, 40 sets Teklogix 8590 car-carried terminal with graphic equipped in yard cranes, front-handling mobile cranes and forklifts. 22 sets Teklogix 7530 wireless handset , 44 sets Teklogix 8525 car-carried terminal adopted 400M wireless mode. This achieved all terminal movable equipments¡¯ wireless coverage.
17: Project System Integration assigned for Wenzhou Zhuangyuanao New Container Terminal was finished in 2008.
It included Container Terminal Management Software, Server System, Database System, Network System, Wireless System Monitor System£¬Comprehensive Wiring and Machine Room Constructing. Cisco 802.11b Wireless Solution plus 230M Narrowband (used for container truck dispatching) to ensure no fade zone coverage and movable operation within terminal. Equipped with 20 sets Cisco 1310 wireless base station, 2 sets Cisco 4400 series network controller, 11 sets wireless car-carried terminal, 5 sets handset and 22 sets wireless car-carried terminal HD-TWT6005 (Huadong product).
18:Project Wireless System assigned for Qingdao Yuangang Container Terminal was finished in 2009.
It adopted Mesh Wireless Solution, achieved wireless signal covering whole terminal, supporting movable operation within terminal by joint wireless terminal with wireless network system. 10 sets Huanchuang Mesh 802.11a/b/g wireless router were adopted and 20 sets graphic car-carried terminal HD-RWT8002 (Huadong product) were equipped in yard cranes, front-handling mobile cranes and forklifts, 6 sets wireless handset HD-HWT7002 (Huadong product) equipped for loading/unloading operators. This system started to run formally in January 2009 and greatly improved terminal operation & administration efficiency .

1: Network Video Monitoring System of Yantai Power Plant in 2006
¡¡¡¡This system can be used for protecting the plant and ensuring production according to the related security protection rules and the spot situation. It realizes the integration between the overall monitoring system of the whole plant and part of the former subsystems. This project, which was started in October 2006 and was finished in December 2006, combines the conventional simulation monitoring method and data network monitoring method, totally integrates about 60 front side monitoring points. Moreover, the experienced engineers protract electronic map for the monitoring system of the whole plant to provide the users with visual management pattern.
2: Comprehensive Personnel Establishment System Integration of Yantai Personnel Bureau in 2007
¡¡¡¡This project builds up a stable and high-powered database system for the comprehensive personnel establishment management system of Yantai personnel bureau through HP minicomputer. We use an HP Integrity rx4640-8 and an HP Integrity rx2620 to equip the server of this system. And in terms of the memory equipment, we use HP EVA4000 disk array. This system was started on 12 January, 2007 and was finished on 13 February, 2007.

¡¡¡¡We adopt four IBM System P5 550+ (9133-55A) servers, two IBM TotalStorage DS4300 disk arrays, nine Langchao Yingxin520D and other network equipments in this project. It was started on 13 March, 2007 and is planned to be finished on or before 24 April, 2007. |
