I: Working principle
¡¡¡¡
The working principle of magnetoelectric induction is adopted in this device. And we fix a emitter onto each woof shuttle holder respectively so that the shuttle can send signal to the receiver which is about 70mm away. Then the signals are shifted into impulse signals and are sent to the controller immediately. There will be a string of even and continuous impulse signals passing through the controller if there¡¯s no broken pick, and the controller will do nothing at that time. But if the woof of one shuttle is broken, there will be no signal to be sent to the receiver. Then the interval of impulse signals will be longer, so the relay inside the controller operates and it¡¯s contact will shut down the motor of the main engine.
II: Installation and Debugging of the Equipment
1: Installation
(1) Emitter: First dismantle the yarn tube holder from one shuttle end that is without spring, install and tighten the emitter with head facing up by the bolt and rotate the yarn tube holder to see if it run smoothly
(2) Receiver: bend the stator to some certain shape and screw it down onto the circular loom. Then screw down the receiver to the stator by the bolt. Adjust the receiver to make it 50-80mm away from the shuttle.
(3) Controller: connect the red line and blue line to 220v alternating current according to the label on the scutcheon, connect the black line and white line to the delay relay to ensure that after a period of delay time, these two lines can be connected to 220v alternating current. Connect the black line, white line and red line to the receiver respectively according to the color. The purple line, yellow line and green line, which are used for exporting control, must be put aside for connecting to electromagnet control system or the middle relay that control the motor system. Finally, you can step into debugging phase when all the components are well connected.
2: Startup Debugging
¡¡¡¡When all the wiring installation is completed, you may step into debugging phase. If the machine works normally, the indicator light of the receiver should shine evenly and the indicator light of the controller shine; but if the indicator light of the controller doesn¡¯t shine, it indicates that the controller doesn¡¯t work. So you¡¯d better check the delta converter or the delay relay to see whether the black line and white line receive the AC220v alternating current or not. If the indicate light of the receiver shines unevenly, you should shorten the distance between the receiver and the emitter. If this doesn¡¯t work, it may means that the signal the emitter is weak or the emitter is broken, then you have to check each emitter one by one. If the machine works normally even when the shuttle is spinning full yarn shuttle, and when the woof is broken, the machine could automatically stop, then the debugging is over.
3: Adjustment of Control Time
It only needs to adjust the DIP switch inside the controller to make RC-II be able to be generally used in circular looms of four shuttle, six shuttle, eight shuttle, or ten shuttle.And actually, the machines have already been adjusted by the manufacturer before sale. If you need to adjust the control time, you can do as the following details.
a: first count the interval time between the close two shuttles: t1(s)
t1=60/(s¡Áv)
t1=60/(s¡Áv)
¡°s¡± represents the type of circular loom (eg: four shuttle: s=4, six shuttle: s=6)
¡°v¡± represents the machine¡¯s rotate speed per minute
b: choose control time: t2(s)

C: choose DIP switch: the following diagram is the standard DIP switch, and it is of adding relation, unit is ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡millisecond (ms)

III: Malfunction Analysis and Handling
1: circular loom can¡¯t be started, reasons are as follows:
(1) Press the inching switch to see the indicator light of the receiver. If the light shines unevenly, it may due to the over high fixing point of the receiver, then you just need to lower its position; if this doesn¡¯t work, you should check whether the emitter send signals normally or not; if the light doesn¡¯t shine at all or light is weak, you can dismantle the emitter to check whether the yarn tube holder separates from the magnet or not. If the connection of the two is good, you can judge: the cover of the emitter is broken, then you should change it.
¡¡(2) If the indicator light of the receiver shines evenly, the malfunction may due to the switchbox. Please check the delay relay carefully. It often because of the too short delay time. For some special cases, the delay time doesn¡¯t work at all, delta can¡¯t convert, and then you can change the delay relay.
2: Malfunction in the Operation Process of the Circular Loom
(1) Observe the indicator light of the receiver, if the light shines unevenly, it may due to the over high position of the receiver or the lax screw cap. If so, please adjust them.
(2) Dismantle the emitter to check if the magnet separates from the yarn tube holder.
(3) Check the indicator light to see whether the light is on all the time. This kind of phenomena usually indicates that the machine is interfered by transducer or other interfering sources. In terms of this problem, you may do as the following details:
A: turn the receiver to another angle or move it to another position far from the transducer.
B: If the above method doesn¡¯t work, you can connect the earth wire of the controlling box to the earth wire of the transducer control box to clear up interference.
C: A better method for handling this problem is to use anti-jamming receiver or to put a shield cap onto the receiver.
(4): If the indicator light shines evenly, the malfunction may due to the protection function of the machine itself(especially when the weather is hot in summer!), then please check eack protecting relay.
(5): If the machine stops when the shuttle is of full yarn but can work normally when the yarn is not full, that may because the distance between the receive and the emitter is a litter longer. Then you should adjust it.
3: Circular Doesn¡¯t Stop When the Yarn is Broken
(1) Check the controller to see whether it has been turned on or not.
(2) Check the red line and the blue line to see whether the voltage is 220v or not. If there¡¯s no voltage, the switchbox must be something wrong. The electrician should check the circuitry.
(3) Check the export control lines to see whether their connection is correct or not.
(4) After the start-up of the machine and delta converting, check the white line and black line of the controller to see whether these two lines have 220v voltage or not. If there¡¯s no voltage, it indicates that there may be something wrong with the time relay, you should adjust it or change it.
(5) If all the problems above don¡¯t exist, you could lift the receiver by hand till it cannot receive any signals. If the machine stops, you can judge that the setting of DIP inside the control box is not proper.
(6) Check the receiver has signal or not, if the indicator light is not on, that may because the input lines are not well connected.
(7) If all the problems above don¡¯t exist, it is sure that there¡¯s something wrong with the controller. You could contact the manufacturer and have a change of it.
